My Story
From Classroom to Therapy Room
Hi, I'm Katherine (she/her). I've worked with children and adolescents for over ten years, but shifted my practice to focus on women, with a particular focus on maternal mental health. Why? Because I've experienced firsthand the challenges and nuances of being a woman in the 21st century. Careers, relationships, global events, motherhood, trauma…the list goes on. It all shapes who we are and how we navigate through the world.
I believe women deserve more support, validation, and space to explore both who they are and who they want to become.
Women's mental health has been neglected for generations—let's change that. You and your unique experiences matter. Ending the stigma related to women's mental health is something I'm passionate about, and I am reminded daily of the privilege it is to work with clients throughout their intimate journey of mental health.
Before becoming a therapist, I was a Montessori teacher. I've worked in community mental health, schools, outpatient hospitals, and private practice settings. Happy to share more about my journey!
My Specializations
Focused Expertise in Women's Most Challenging Moments
Infertility Counseling
Having supported hundreds of women through fertility journeys, I understand the unique grief, hope, and complexity of this experience. Whether you're starting IVF, processing loss, or making difficult decisions about family building, I provide informed, compassionate support.
Perinatal Mental Health
From pregnancy anxiety to postpartum depression, I help women navigate the massive transition to motherhood. Because "just wait it out" isn't a treatment plan, and you deserve support that honors both the challenges and joys of this journey.
EMDR Therapy
As an EMDR trained therapist, I help women process birth trauma, pregnancy loss, and past experiences that impact present wellbeing. When talking alone isn't enough, EMDR can unlock healing.
Mind-Body Connection
I incorporate mindfulness and somatic awareness into treatment, helping you reconnect with your body—especially important during fertility treatments and pregnancy.

Why This Work Matters to Me
Women's mental health has been neglected for generations. We've been told our feelings are "hormones," our struggles are "just part of being a woman," and our pain isn't real enough for support.
I know differently, and you deserve better.
Whether you're navigating infertility, struggling through pregnancy, or simply trying to find yourself again, you don't have to do it alone. I'm here to provide the specialized, compassionate support you deserve.
